FAQ
  • Are there Perennial and Annual Succulents?
Yes, there is a wide variety of Succulents available on the market today. Hardy Perennial Succulents, often referred to Hens & Chicks are very familiar to many. Also called Sempervivums, are hardy and withstand the cold snowy winters of Northeast Pennsylvania. They generally go dormant once the wintrer weather arrives & then return again in the spring. Much like your perennial flowers, Sempervivums appear to be dead in the early spring. Please be patient and give them time as the sun & the ground warms until the start to come back. Many folks have mistaken a dormant succulent as a dead succulent and mistakenly pulled them out of the ground beliveing they are dead. They are Perennials just like your perennnial flowers and not all will come back at the same time. Sun & tempeture plays a big roll.
